Owner Michelle has been professionally grooming since 2003 and has dedicated her career to continuously learning, growing, and perfecting her craft. Her passion for education extends beyond herself and into her team, where she encourages ongoing training, skill development, and a strong foundation in both canine and feline care. Over the years, Michelle has earned numerous certifications across many areas of professional grooming and pet care.

After spending years managing other salons, Michelle developed a deeper understanding of the atmosphere and experience she wanted to create for both pets and their owners. That vision became Luxury Pet Spa, a space that blends high-end grooming, thoughtful customer service, holistic treats and food, and a carefully curated retail selection to bring a touch of downtown Manhattan style and sophistication to the local community.

Michelle specializes in Asian Fusion grooming, a modern grooming style known for its soft, rounded features and polished, teddy bear-inspired appearance. She takes immense pride in her work and is especially passionate about creative grooming, where artistry and grooming come together in a safe and pet-friendly way. Her attention to detail, patience, and dedication to each pet are at the heart of everything she does.

As a mother of three boys, Steven, Aiden, and Tyler, Michelle has built Luxury Pet Spa around the importance of family. All three of her sons were raised around the shop, making it not only a business but a large part of their lives and upbringing. Michelle also owns a Maltese of her own, further deepening her connection and understanding of the pets entrusted to her care.

Today, Michelle continues to stay driven and focused on mastering the ins and outs of professional grooming and animal care. Her long-term goal is to become both a grooming educator and competitive groomer while continuing to lead and mentor her staff into a highly skilled, professional, and unified team that shares her commitment to excellence.
